Formatting disappear saving formats from range as style due to difference.
Cause:
This problem occurs because the range from which the style is being saved contains totally different formats. Saving a style only works for the formatting in a cell or a range of cells with identical formatting. For a range containing different formatting, the style saves only the formatting common to all the cells. If the formats are all different, nothing is saved. This is by design of Excel.
Solution:
Undo the save if no other actions have been performed after the save. Otherwise, format the cells again.
